I’m the Marketing Analyst for Americas.
I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work at Exide for the last 22 years. I have seen the company go through a lot of changes; however, I believe that Exide’s best days are ahead. Exide’s investment in research and development will allow Exide to be at the forefront in the development of innovative technologies needed to meet complex energy storage needs. The expansion of AGM battery production positions the company to be at a competitive advantage in the years ahead as start-stop, micro-hybrid and no-idle vehicles demand increases. In addition the consolidation of Transportation and Industrial groups will enhance Exide’s ability to capitalize on more cross-selling opportunities.
For me the most positive point about working at Exide is the people that work for Exide. Throughout my career at Exide, I have always been fortunate to work with people that have provided a positive working environment and have created a team atmosphere. I have always felt that the people I reported to were dedicated to helping me succeed at Exide and in life. Exide employs many talented people with strong work ethics that are dedicated to making Exide the premier battery company in the world.
I balance my work and my personal life by spending time with family and friends on weekends. In addition, I am an avid swimmer which is great exercise and form of relaxation. I normally swim several miles a week and have swum over 600 miles during the last 5 years. I also enjoy golf, reading and supporting local sport teams.
I would recommend Exide as a great place to work for anyone looking for opportunities to grow professionally. Due to the nature of Exide’s operations, a person has opportunities to work and develop in many different aspects of an organization such as manufacturing operations, distribution operations, engineering, IT, finance, sales and marketing. Additionally, Exide’s global footprint allows opportunities to work with different geographic regions.
